Serving approximately 60, 000 passengers annually, Geraldton Airport, operated by the City of Greater Geraldton, is the main airport that serves the city of Geraldton in Western Australia. In the mid-west region, this airport serves as the aircraft charter operations' main regional base. Flight training, private flying, aerial agricultural work, and other activities within the industrial and commercial interests also operate here.

Three runways are being used by the airport. Measuring 1,981m in length is the main runway 03/21, which is surfaced with Asphalt. The second runway, 08/26, on the other hand, has gravel surface and measures 900m in length. Lastly, the third runway, 14/32, which is also gravel-surfaced, is 844m long.

The airport, at present, has only one terminal. It doesn't offer 24-hour service, and the opening time depends on the time of the first flight.

Flights and Destinations

QantasLink, one of the two airlines in Geraldton Airport, has flights going to only one destination—Perth. Skywest, on the other hand, flies passengers to Port Headland, Karratha, Kalgoorlie, and Melbourne (via Kalgoorlie).

Transport To and From the Airport

The airport offers free car parks for the passengers, so accessing the airport via private cars would be a good choice. These car parks are located near the front entrance and the departure entrance. Car rentals services are also available. Avis, Budget, Hertz, and Thrifty Car Rental have their service desks located inside the terminal.
