Gladstone Airport is the main airport that serves the city of Gladstone, Queensland. It is located 10km from the city center, and is currently owned and run by the Regional Council of Gladstone.


The airport operates with one asphalt runway, 10/28, which measures 1,920m long.


The airport has one terminal, which underwent upgrades last 2008. This multi-million upgrade led to the expansion of the departure and arrival halls, installation of new screening equipments, and construction of new facilities and amenities for the passengers.

Flights and Destinations

The main airline that operates in the airport is QantasLink, which provides flights primarily to the city of Brisbane, and also to Cairns, Mackay, Townsville, and Rockhampton. Last October 2011, Virgin Australia also started flying passengers to Brisbane.
