Passengers need only present their booking number on their fully-paid flight, a screenshot from a competitor’s website offering a lower rate for a comparable product, and a completed claim form 10 days before departure, for Qantas to provide a price match, plus 1,000 extra Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
Qantas Airways also offers a wide range of policies to meet passengers’ different requirement with their QBE Travel Insurance. Passengers may opt to pay with their Qantas Frequent Flyer points to purchase a policy for domestic or international flights.
Qantas also entices business travelers with their flexible domestic fares, which include the Fully Flexible and Flexi Saver fares, as well as Red e-Deals that allow Business Class passengers to change their booking details shortly before their flight departure.
For faster domestic check-ins, Qantas Airways provides passengers with permanent electronic bag tags called Q Bag Tags, allowing passengers to automatically drop their bags at the Bag Drop. These tags are synchronized with each passenger’s boarding pass or Qantas card details, and are available for AU$49.95 or 7,000 Frequent Flyer points online, at airport check-in vending kioks, or at Qantas service desks at the terminal.
For leisure travelers, Qantas Airways has an online facility on its website that allows guests to build their own holiday package, most for under AU$ 1,000, by providing the most cost-efficient travel packages, including hotel accommodations, car rentals, airport transfers, as well as event and activity tickets with their lowest price finder. These holiday packages, both domestic and international (Fiji, Sonsaisali Island Resort, Bali, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore) are also prominently featured in the airline’s website at www.qantas.com.au.
